Hello,

Old age problem again, but have really tried (for a long time)

The colors on my opening screen are fine.

But, I cannot go back to what I normally had.
Black text on a white background for eMail, etc.

Have tried most everything I can think of, but won't revert
to what I had before.

Can someone, please, tell me the very "exact" steps to follow to
have black text on a white background for Mail, etc. ?

Would be most appreciative.

Thanks,
Bob

You have left out some vital information here.
Are we talking about a Mac computer or an iPhone/iPad?
It would also be helpful to know which operating system you’re using but let’s struggle on regardless.
On A Mac computer open the Apple Menu from the Menu Bar.
Open System Settings (Preferences).
Go to Appearance in the sidebar.
Here it gets tricky, depending on your operating System (OS) this will look different but you should see an Auto, Light and Dark selection. Bear in mind this will be a System Wide change, not just Mail.

This is how it looks on mine in Dark Mode;

Dear Admins, for some reason Refreshing the page duplicated my post and since when is a screen shot taken on a MBP too big to post on this site? I had to resize with Preview to 50% in order to attach?
