Best HP B&W laser printer(s) for new IMac (EL Capitan OS)?

Hello. I am planning on buying a new IMac Retina Display running El Capitan. I have always liked
using HP Laser printers, but, in researching, I am encountering some confusion as to what HP
laser printer(s) would be best for connecting to and being most compatible with the new system.
Any recommendations/ suggestions would be really appreciated. Thank you!

-Monochrome or color?
-Do you need photographic output?

HI- Thanks for the reply. I don't have a huge monthly printing volume and only
need monochrome (no photo output needed) for documents. Some HP printers I am
looking at are 1) HP Laserjet Pro M402n and 2) HP Laserjet Pro 402dw and
3) HP Laserjet Pro 402dn. Can you (or anyone) tell me if any or which of these
would be connectable and compatible with a new IMac retina running El Capitan
(OS 10.1 or 10.1.1)? Thanks again for your help!
