Batch Photo Conversion

I am new to setting up workflows and applications in Automator. What I am looking at doing is batch converting my photos from RAW to JPEGs and leave the RAW files and put the new JPEGs in a new file. I have found some tutorials that have helped me get started, but I am running into an issue. When ever I run the workflow application it renames and converts the original RAW to the correct JPEG, but it removes the original RAW file. How can I get around this?

I don't have a lot of experience with Automator, but would be glad to try and help. Could you post the steps you are using in the Automator action, so we can help diagnose the issue?
