Auto-lock

Is there some way to auto-lock my phone for more than 5 minutes but for less than "never"? 5 minutes is way too short but "never" runs down my phone charge. I'm surprised this hasn't appeared to be a problem for others.

Unfortunately, you only have the few auto-lock options that Apple gives.

-Which model iPhone?
-Which version of iOS?

That's an annoyance I have as well. A great solution (at least to my mind) would be to add an icon button to the home screen which the user could toggle between five minutes and never with a double-tap. Even better would be having a Settings place wherein the user could input how long between locking and "never" or triple-tap to input the desired time interval.
