Hi,

Using ArtSaver as a ScreenSaver.
It cycles thru, periodically, a large file of photos I have.
Works fine.

But, I would like to change the Desktop to something else.
Just a light blue background, all the time.
No Artsaver for the Desktop, only as a Screensaver.

Can't figure out how to do it without
messing up ArtSaver for the ScreenSaver part.

Suggestions ?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

If I understand you correct, you just want to change the desktop wallpaper.

To do this is fairly easy.

If you are on macOS Ventura, right click on a blank spot on your desktop and select Change Wallpaper... and then scroll down to the section that says Colors and select a color that you would like to use as your Desktop wallpaper.

If you are on an earlier verion of macOS, right click on a blank spot on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background... On the left select Colors and select a color that you want to use as the wallpaper.
