Apple Tag Frustration

I'm posting this question here because there was not a category for Apple Tags.

How can I find my phone that has an Apple Tag when I need my phone to find it? Since the app to find that Apple Tag is on the phone I'm looking for, it seems ludicrous at best.

Thanks for any ideas regarding this questions.

Hello,

Depending on where you may have lost the iPhone, you could use a Mac and the Find My application, or any computer to login to icloud.com to use the Find My function. The Find My application will also locate AirTags.
