Apple Mail - Deleted from Trash

I'm using the current OS with Apple Mail. I've noticed that the number of emails in Trash has gone down, without my doing anything.

Is there a setting that allows me to set the number of emails or length of time that emails will remain in Trash before being automatically permanently deleted?

Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Select the Mail Account > Mailbox Behaviours > Permanently erase Deleted messages when:
