Almost 42000 of exe and pif files on my main folder/directory and on macintosh hd

Im using Macbook 7.1
MAC OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard

I don't know where i get this exe and pif files, i don't know i think when trying to install windows on it? i don't know.There are almost 18000, they are all in a folder where you can find the Public, Pictures, Videos, etc folder. And also in the drive of Macintosh HD, there are 24000 of this too. Are these exe and pif files important? Will my Mac break if i disposed of this files? I have 219GB space on it and i think those exe and pif files are consuming the space. I think they consumed A LOT because i have a remaining 50GB on it.

My dad once tried to install windows on it but it's unsucessful.
And i think he just stopped installing it. I was thinking if this exe and pif files are just the remains of the Windows supposed to be installed here? And I need to confirm if this files are safe to be deleted. Thank you !
