Hello i have a iMac - Mid 2007 (I think)

I got some new RAM, it was the correct one 100% and I could only get 4GB for mine. So I got 2 X 2GB RAM.

Installed them wednesday... everything was fine; Thursday they worked, Friday they worked.

But this morning (Saturday) The computer stopped working all together, I had to take out the 4GB RAM & insert the old 1GB RAM.

After this it worked fine!

Sounds like the RAM may have failed by coincidence.

-What manufacturer/model of RAM did you buy?
-What did the iMac actually do/not do?
-Is it still running normally with the original RAM?
