I use adiumx, it is good, and useful if you want to communicate with users of other IM clients. Worth a look anyway

I get another particular error. Now, i'm running the exact same system both at work and at home. With some, but not all contacts from msn the text i type and what the other side types appears as jibberish on my side. I can copy and past this in a text file and it appears normal again. So far I managed to track the issue down to a suitcase problem (before adding font's to suitcase i didn't had the problem).

Anybody here having a clue how to deal with this problem?

You could try deleting the preference files for Adium to see if that works perhaps.

I never managed to solve the issue with MSN vs AdiumX. Untill the new MSN live update. Guess what? MSN now has the issues AdiumX had, but AdiumX got cured in the same update. Heh.
