Address book annoyance

While entering information in the Notes field of Address Book - the cursor insert point jumps to the beginning of the note if there is a user pause in typing. This happens very quickly and is most annoying since the user pause in typing can be as little as 3 or 4 seconds.

This problem is occurring on a Macbook Air w/ OS 10.7.2 and Address Book version 6.1

Has anyone else encountered this problem - and - is there a fix for it?

Click the Edit button, and it doesn't happen.

Thanks so much - I tried click the EDIT button - and it works fine.
