Does anyone know why 'fontd' in the activity monitor uses 100% of my cpu power?
I started up my Mac today and I can't get certain programs to run and i've never had any problems before.

Hello and welcome.

-Which model Mac?
-Which version of OS X?
-Is it the latest version of InDesign CC?
-Have you checked Font Book for any duplicates or corrupted/damaged fonts?
-Do you have any additional fonts installed?

Normally, this issue is caused by a corrupted or non-compatible font.
