Access denied when saving a file

Hi there,

I'm getting an access denied message when I try to save an HTML file on my Mac OSX.

I've attached a screenshot to show the message I get.

The folder I am saving to does now show a checked locked checkbox if I view the folder's information.

Any help would be greatly received

Have you tried repairing Permissions in Disc Utility and rebooting your Mac?

Should not be saving files into the Applications Folder.
