2020 Imac I9 27 inch is this a problem computer?

In October I Purchased a NEW iMac i9 27 inch 5k.
Well the Motherboard went out in December and I did nit get the computer Bach till January.
2 days ago it just shut off and died again. And again the MB is bad.
Do I have a bad apple design here?

Hello,

It is extremely rare for two logic boards to fail in the same iMac. When it does happen, it is usually an external influence, like bad AC power/power surges, humidity/liquid damage, etc.

If it were a bad design from Apple, there would be far many more reports of it from other users.

Who repaired it the first time, and what was their finding for a cause?

Apple repaired the computer at an Apple Store.
Nothing with power has happened here at two other computer running at the time are fine.
I live in SoCals so not to much humidity here.
