10.9.4 - Emailing video clips using Mail

Is there a way to email video clips through my Mail program? When I try to do this I get a response saying that I cannot mail video.

-How are you attaching the video - from iPhoto, from a file on your computer, etc.?
-Are you getting the error message that the file is too large? Most ISPs have an attachment file size limit that ranges between 2-10MB, although a few will allow up to 20MB or larger.

If you are getting another message, let us know and we can go from there.

The files are on I Photo and the provision for sending stills works OK, but when I tried to send even a short video clip a message came up saying it cannot be done. No mention of the size of the video exceeding allowance.

I have heard of that issue before. You should be able to select the video in iPhoto, export it from the File menu in iPhoto to the Desktop, then attach it to an email in the Mail app.
