what has just happened to my I-tunes?

love this site this is my second use. New software sign came up for I-Tunes,so I downloaded it, successful it said so thought I would give it a whirl..........Not So..... sign
Original file could not be found would you care to locate it so I click on locate and the create new folder page ( I think comes open, I cant play anything.

I am an ancient user,but have done all updates for years.Yes,to your question.I have been trying to get hold of Apple help,but you know what it wont accept my passwords,so have been hours trying to sort them out.
