VLC and Blu-Ray films

I’m trying to get my 24” iMac to play Blu-ray movies using my OWC Mercury Pro external Optical drive via the VLC app but I’m not having a lot of luck. VLC needs some added files to play Blu-Ray it seems which I have downloaded from the internet but I am confused as exactly where to put them. Can anyone help the files are keydb.cfg and libaccs.dylib, these are what are suggested I need after Googling my problem. Thanks in advance..​

Sorry for the delayed response.

I haven't used a Blu-ray player with any Mac. You would probably get an answer much faster by posting it in The VideoLAN Forums, as that is direct support for VLC Player.
