Usenet Newsgroups With eMail Program That Came With iMac ?

Hello,

New iMac user.

Although I like the eMail program that came with the machine, I'm a big user of the
Usenet Forums too.

Can the native eMail program that came already
installed be configured to read these Usenet Newsgroups ?

Or, do I have to install Mozill Thunderbird, like on my old W10 pc, to
access them ? Hate to have two eMail programs, but...?

I think, but am not sure, that they have an Apple version
of Thunderbird.

And, how can I transfer (all) of the Folders) I created on my
old W10 pc to the Apple program on the iMac ?

Hello,

Since you are familiar with Thunderbird, I would recommend installing it for email and Usenet newsgroups. The interface should be familiar to you, since it is basically the same as the Windows version.
