Upgrading A iMac Mid 2011 2.7 i5

hey everyone i was wondering if it was possible to upgrade the graphics card on my imac 2011 2.7 and also my processor to a i7 right now i have a i5 im going to be doing a lot of video work on my imac so i would like it to render my video really fast and work flawless without no problems when im doing video work. i will be purchasing alot of hard drives and putting them all in a 5 bay enclosure box.

Hello and welcome.

Unfortunately, those components aren't upgradeable, as they are part of the logic board itself. The only real upgrade you can do is to increase the RAM in your iMac. It has four RAM slots, and it supports up to 16 GB officially (Apple), 32 GB unofficially. RAM is always the most inexpensive performance boost.

If you really need more rendering speed, then your best choice would be to purchase a newer model iMac, or even a Mac Pro.
