Save As Vs. Export As...

Hello,

Running Mojave.

In Safari, what are the differences between doing a "Save As" (when it appears as an option) vs Files/"Export As pdf"
for a pdf ? Or other items too ?

Which would one use, when ? Why ?

Using 'Save as' you can choose "Web archive' or 'Page source'

Page source will save as html, so you will be able to edit the file easily.
Web archive will save a web viewable archive of the page, not as easy to edit.

If you export as PDF you will get an exact copy of the page that is printable. It is still possible to edit with the right software.
