Hello Everyone,
I am running an Imac G5 (with the older motorola chip) and using OSX (10.4.11) "Tiger".
I have recently done a software update with Safari (3.0.4) and Quicktime (7.4) but now whenever I am on Safari, it will not play any online Quicktime movies.
All that shows up on the screen is the Quicktime logo (Without the "?" mark).
I have verified the disk permissions, as well as remove some of the pref files as mentioned elsewhere on this forum. (All this does is it allows me to go to a page with a quicktime movie on it and it plays normally, BUT if I go to another page or even return to the same page that previously worked, all that's there is the Quicktime logo again.)
Strange thing is I can launch Netscape and IT will play online quicktime movies!
I'm just irritated that two mac specific applications seemingly refuse to work together.
Thanks for your input, I have had no other luck doing an internet search.
