I need a paint program that I can use both the Mac and the iPad. To begin with, I used AutoCad 360 on both devices. Unfortunately lacks features in the program on the iPad, such as adjusting line widths.

Maybe Fusion 360:

iOS App Store
Mac App Store

It seems to be available for both the Mac and the iPad. It is also made by Autodesk, so it may have the same limitations. The Autodesk CAD apps are the only ones that I am familiar with.
