Not able to update app like pages, numbers

Hi,

I am not able to update the apps like pages and numbers. Whenever I try to update, after entering email and pass, it says this account is not associated with app store. Although I have only one email which is attached to app store and itunes. Any solution?

Hello and welcome.

-Which model Mac?
-Which version of OS X?
-Did those apps come with your Mac? If so, did you "accept" them with the Apple ID you are using to try to update them?
-Do they show in the Purchased tab of the App Store app?
-Have you tried signing out of the App Store and then signing back in?
