Lost my stored emails after installing Window 10 on Parallels

I have a MacBook pro running MacOS 10.15.7. I installed windows 10 on a Parallels virtual machine. My emails on my primary email program on the Catalina partition are gone.

What did I do wrong?

Hello and welcome.

That is a strange issue that I have never come across. There should be any interaction of that type between Windows in a Parallels virtual machine and your User folder/Mail application.

• Do you have a Time Machine or other backup of your data?
• Is your email only stored locally on your Mac, or can you access it via webmail in a web browser?
