A system dialog box saying that I could not join a particular wi-fi network has popped up. This is really irritating because the following methods do not work to get it to go away:
1. Click Cancel
2. Click Run Diagnostics
3. Select the dialog box and press esc key
4. Select the dialog box and press cmd+.
5 Select the dialog box and press cmd+w
6. Join a different network.
7. Wait for over 10 minutes and repeat any of these actions.
8. Turn off WiFi
9. It was the Wifi on my phone, turned off that wifi network.
10. Turn my phone's personal hotspot back on and reconnect to it.
11. Curse that I have ever purchased any apple product and vow never to do so again.
of course I can restart the computer but I really hate the idea of having to restart a computer to get rid of a dialog box.
So what I would like is to have a command I can enter in the terminal to kill the process responsible for keeping that stupid dialog in front.
