How Can I Create Name Tags

I have a Numbers Spreadsheet with names and other data on it. When using Windows, my wife could create name tags using something like Mail Merge as I remember. She went to Apple and they said it couldn't be done.. but, doesn't sound correct.

I'm sure there are experts here that would know.

Hello and welcome.

Apple is correct - Pages and Numbers don't support the mail merge functionality that Word and Excel have. If you have Microsoft Office installed on your Mac, you could export the Numbers spreadsheet to Excel format, then use the mail merge within Word and Excel.

Hard to believe MS did something great and Apple can't read between the lines. Thanks Cory.. I did a bit more research and others want this capability too. Arghhh.

Even though Apple hasn't officially implemented mail merge, I did a little more research and found this:

Macworld: How to create mail merge documents with Pages and Numbers

It uses AppleScript...it may work if you want to try it out.
