Greetings to all. I am a long-time PC user and an inexperienced iMac user. My dear wife persuaded me to replace our aging desktop computer with an iMac. She loves it. I need help. More on that in a post below. Please be gentle. I'm an old dog, and you know what they say about old dogs and new tricks.

Welcome aboard, Ron. You'll find some folks here who are more than willing to help you. One important thing, though, is that when you post a question about an issue you are having, it is necessary to let us know the exact iMac model you have, and what Mac OS it is running.

Additionally, it is important to do periodic disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs, and backups to an external device.
