Copy tables from Safari to pages

Hi,

I want to copy and paste tables from Safari to pages. Pages does not recognize it and adds it as text. I can't use a screenshot cause I need to delete a few rows from the table. I need to do that as fast as possible for 15 tables per document, several times a week.
When I was doing this with word on a windows computer it was working fine. When I copy and paste the table to numbers it works somehow but the table is not shown as I want to, Utah I can't paste it into pages. I tried also firefox as a browser but same result.

Helo and welcome.

First thing I would try is either Google Chrome and/or try pasting using Paste and Match Style from the Edit menu in Pages.
