Hi all,
I've brought a gen 1 MacBook Pro back from the dead, and was going to max out the RAM and install a small SSD just for kicks, but upon booting Safari I am welcomed by the infamous "Safari can't find the server. Safari can't open the page http://apple%20message%20boards/* because Safari can't find the server "apple message boards". I can visit Apple.com just fine, but almost every other site gives me this exact same sort of message. I apologize if this topic should be in Network, but I figured it was related to this particular model. Wifi works, and the computer is in relatively good shape all things considered. So I'm wondering if this is simply because Snow Leopard's browser is ancient now and protocols have changed to prevent me from browsing, but I thought I would ask here first.
Thanks in advance for any advice
