Whole desktop shifts when cursor moves

When I move the cursor with one finger my whole desktop shifts including the menu bar which disappears up and off the screen. I have a macbook pro laptop and would like to know how to stop this. Thanks.

Try opening "System Preferences", clicking on the "Universal Access" icon, clicking on the "Seeing" tab if it's not already chosen, and last but certainly not least, clicking the "Off" button located under the word "ZOOM:".
