USB to Ethernet adaptor

Got a G4 iMac that appears to have a bad ethernet port. Reinstalled the OS (9.2) the port remained inactive. The end user is not willing to upgrade or repair the hardware or software. I'm looking for a USB to Ethernet solution for this era Mac. Any ideas on fixing the ethernet port or adding a USB to Ethernet adaptor (can't seem to find one that supports OS9.2)?

Did some digging and have found the SMC SMC2208USBETH usb to ethernet adapter performing well on macs running 9.2.2. Link below:
