I downloaded the demo of Adobe Flash application. The demo ran out of time. I tried throwing the folders away to the trash to uninstall. I'm trying to reinstall but it says the application is still installed.

How can I remove the application for good? I don't have the same install file. What should i do?

Thanks.

Probably the plist file is still in your user Library > Preferences folder. If you really want to delete all files associated with an application, one of the best choices for doing that is by using AppZapper.

This is usually because the receipts package remains on your system. Do a search for adobe and see if you can locate it (make sure it is the right one, it will say something like adobeflash.pkg) and then delete it.

If you cannot find it, locate the receipts package in your library>receipts for the correct adobe application.
