sticky mousepad on MacBook 13"

Help! My mouse pad is sticky on my powerbook.Is there a way to ake it off and clean it?
i didnt spill anything in it, I think its just dust.

Literally a couple of drops of water on an anti-static cloth. Make you sure power down completely first.
