Hi all,

Can someone please help me, I transferred too many music files onto my macbook pro, a pop-up box appeared saying start up disc full. the next time i went to start up, it won't load, it looks like it will start up then goes to blue screen. Does anyone have any suggestions how i can get in and delete some files to free up memory?

much appreciated,

Megan :)

hi
you can try this tips and see if you can boot your mac http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=2004011205473937
if not try tthis
press power
cmd+s cmd is the button with apple logo

type fsck -y press return
it will check your mac and report in your case that it is modified
if it say it is not checking type fsck -fy

keep doing this until it reports everything is ok
type reboot press return
your mac should start normally
