slideshow problems

I have Mac OSX and have created a slideshow with music in Iphoto. I would like to burn this slideshow onto a cd and I cannot get it to work....Help!!

Hi there and welcome !

Can you let us know what version of OS X you have and what version of iPhoto...

In iPhoto 5, you have to either Export it as a Quicktime Movie or use the send to iDVD option, if you have iDVD.

Do you have iDVD or iMovie ?

I think I have iphoto 5. I have exported the slideshow into idvd. Is there any way I can either burn it onto a cd (I don't have a dvd burner) or email the slideshow to someone who has a dvd burner?

Hi there,

in iPhoto click on your Slideshow in the left hand pane...

then go to the "Share Menu" and click export...

Then Pick your Movie size and tell it where to save it...

...then you can copy that to CD, or email it if you want !
