Samsung burner issue

I bought a Samsung external burner, model #SE-SO84, and it burns files to a cd just fine, but whenever I try to burn via iTunes it causes my iTunes to crash. I tried Patchburn and that didn't help.

Anyone have any ideas what I should try? Thanks!
