Hey guys.
So, the university I go to go all new iMacs a couple of months ago and the older ones they had were all stored away. Well, they decided to sell them to students for a cheap price b/c they didn't have any of the admin login or password info.
The operating system is OS X 10.5.6 and I have the CD for that operating system that came with my macbook pro.
The problem is that when the computer is started it automatically goes into a "lab user"account and the restrictions on that account bascially lets me do nothing. I don't have the admin username or password or the root or "master" password.
I'd be willing to totally wipe the computer if thats what I have to in order to start fresh with all of my own settings and me being the admin.
Is there anyway to do this?
