Quicktime VR

I'm interested in making some Quicktime VR panoramas but I can't figure out from Apple's site if Quicktime VR is a standalone app or if it's part of Quicktime Pro

Any ideas?

Hi Mike,

I have QT Pro...theres no funcionality to do QuickTime VR's in it, as far as I am aware.

From memory, Apple used to have a program for making them, in the OS 9 days...but can't say as I've seen it recently !

...I think though, now you will need a third party product, a few here.

Found it...It was called "QuickTime VR Authoring Studio" but it seems Apple no longer make it...

If you have a digital camera...have a look on their website, or on the cd's supplied with it, I know some of the Canon Cameras and the Fuji Cameras come with 'stitching' software that you can export to QuickTime VR's, all depends what you want to do...

If I click on the "get the software" link I'd expected to be able to but Quicktime VR but all I see is other programmes listed. I'll have to investigate further

I see what you mean, it just takes you to third party suppliers...

Don't think Apple make any VR Authoring software any more.
