Quark 6.0 activation

I was given a Quark 6.0 disk by a friend who no longer uses Quark. But when I try to install it on my machine it tells me I have to activate it to use the full version for more than 5 days. When I go to activate it, it says it has exceeded the number of activations. How can I get around this?

Hi there,

has your friend given you the 'license' too ?

If he has then you need to ring Quark and they will reset it for you. THye should give you a new activation code.

You will have to let them know that the license has been transfered.

Or get your friend to de-activate Quark on his Mac, and then you will be able to activate it on your Mac.
