Problem setting my college email up with Mail

I am going to University of Delaware next year and have my email account already set up with them. Yesterday I got my 13in macbookpro and went to set it up with my email. There is a problem though, whenever it asks for my password, it says the imap server rejects mt password even though it is correc.t I can still log in through udel's google mail but not apples mail. help please?
