Peculiar Screen activity

Hi,

I have a Macbook pro and the screen has just started to act funny.

Some - not all - areas of black appear with red pixels instead of black, and white areas - again, some, not all - appear with blue pixels.

I can't understand why this is happening, it is in random areas and changes depending on the day, and it is only on some areas and not all.

Has anyone else come across this or know what it could be?

Sounds like a hardware problem, hope you have extended AppleCare as this could be expensive.
Take it to an Apple Service Centre, near you.

Thats what I thought it could be! No extended care. I have had three years trouble free computing, plus about 5 other years with other Macs, so I am due a repair bill!

Get a quote but you may find it more cost effective to buy a new MacBook.
