My Mac wont open Windows or Adobe applications

I use an G4 Quick silver twin processor. Yesterday is stopped opening my Windows or Adobe applications. They have worked fine for 2-3 Years and now they will not open at all. It has never done this before. All other applications seem to work fine.

Can any one offer any advice??

what is the messege you got?
what is the action you got when you try to open the applications.
any way you can create a new user and try to open it .. if it is working it means your pref. files is damaged .. in this case you can delete your pref folder with care..

Have you gone through the usual repairing permissions routine? Often this is advisable with sudden failures...
