So, I am trying to help my mother set up a second display on her computer. I am only in town for a few more days so prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated.
The second display has already been hooked up and working, but Tiger will only allow it to mirror the on board display. I am trying to link them up side-by-side. Generally this isn't a problem, but the "Arrangement" tab in display settings is absent. Infuriatingly enough, there is no "Detect Displays" button either. When I plug in the second monitor, it is automatically detected and mirrors the existing display. I can't find any way to change preferences on it, and it's not listed anywhere as even being hooked up to the computer.
Help, please?
