Mail cannot be deleted

I've an iMac, version 10.5.1

My problem is: I can receive and send Mail, but I can't delete any mail.

I get this message:
The IMAP-command ''UID COPY' (target: Deleted Messages)' has failed for postbus 'INBOX' with serverfault: UID COPY failed Deleted Messages: no such mailbox.
(Translation from Dutch)

I don't know what is wrong. Everything was already installed when I bought the iMac. Is it possible just to install the Mailprogram all over again?

It sounds like you are using Apple Mail and your account is IMAP. Is that correct?

Yes, it is, but I've already figgered it out.
I should not save my mail on the server. Now I can delete al of my mail.
But thanks anyway...!
