SOLVED Macbook Air Google Chrome Won't Work

Help! Longtime Windows user, and I bought my first Macbook. One of the first things I tried to do is install Google Chrome, and it won't work. I first received an error about "not responding", and now I get "quit unexpectedly". I've tried a bunch of suggestions I've found via search and youtube but nothing works. What am I missing? Is Google Chrome problematic on a Mac? I am a heavy Chrome user.

Update... I enabled guest login, and Chrome works for the guest profile. I am wondering if the Windows migration to MacBook tool moved something somewhere that is affecting Chrome operation in my profile.
