iPhoto Original Pictures...

Discussion in 'Graphics' started by The Translucent Amoebae, Aug 30, 2008.

  1. It seems to me that Once you modify a picture in iPhoto,
You would, in many cases, never want to go back to the Original Image,
and if you're memory conscious of the space that it is still taking up
    on your hard drive...

Is there a simple/ elegant way to get rid of it...???

    Thanx!

    Shawn-

One alternative would be to export the photo, verify it has the changes,
delete the original and import the exported photo.

However, I've learned NOT to mess with an original! There are too many
things that can go wrong. I think it is worth the space it requires.
(You can buy a small 100 Gig bus-powered USB hard drive for less than
    $100.)
