I am trying to clone my hard drive to a new internal hard drive for my macbook, upgrading from a 80GB to 500GB I have done it twice now once using disc utilities and once with superduper! but both times after I put the newly cloned hard drive into my macbook the operating system doesn't load.
The apple on a grey background comes up and it starts to load then it changes to a circle with a line through it and stays there. What do I do.
My best guess is that the files have been copied across in a different order and directories will have been moved but i don't know how to fix this.
Also I only have 2GB of free space on my current internal, will this make a difference.
Thanks for any help.
