iBook flashing question mark

After trying to connect to my wireless network for the first time on my iBook, it crashed, which it never does, i forced shut down and now when i try and turn it on i get a little flashing question mark/finder logo. I've read a couple of posts saying re-install your start-up disc but i'm rubbish and have lost it!! ahhh help!!

Running OS 10.3.9 btw

try rebooting holding down the x key...

(you will need those disks though!)
