HP 2527 Paper Feed (Doesn't)

Greets,

I use HP paper, I fan it, I put a lot in the tray, I put a little in. I set the paper type to the appropriate setting. No matter what I do, the paper does not feed unless I give it a slight push.

I bought a warranty when I purchased this Photosmart All-in-One and have already done the one allowable swap. Yet, I still must hand feed each sheet. Fortunately, I don't need to print a lot.

Is this a known problem with this machine or did I get two lemons? Is there any adjustment I can make? Any magical words, incantation or curse that I can invoke?

(I haven't looked at HP's site in a couple of months -- will do that).

Hi there,

has this printer 'never' been able to feed in the paper, or did it do it okay originally ?

If you have some camera lens clean (alcohol) and a few cotton buds, you can clean the little rubber rollers. They can sometimes get a bit dirty and don't pull in the paper.

Is it now out of warranty ?

regards

Ric
