help me pleeeease!

Hi I am relatively new to using macs and I need some help! I got given a copy of phtoshop version 8 on a cd r. I just want to know the simplest way of going through the steps to in stall the program onto my mac. When I double click on the photoshop icon it then goes to a new window which has setup.exe, crack.exe. when I go to double click either it goes to disk utility, and is asking me whether I want to restore, repair or erase or partition and I don't see how these are relevant to installing the program. I have a mac powerbook and use osx tiger ... ant help would be greatly appreciated

is the copy of photoshop for os9 and not osx?

Hi there all !

it sounds like a Pc version... The '.exe' is a PC program file.

You could always pop to the Apple Store and 'buy' a copy...
